Fun furniture for Florida theme park
In addition to high-quality umbrellas, American Holtzkraft supplied the outdoor furniture for a family-friendly restaurant at a popular theme park in Florida. Made in the USA from recycled plastic, these vividly colorful tables, chairs and stools add to the fun atmosphere and stand up to the challenging Florida climate. And with all hardware hidden and made of non-corrosive stainless steel, this Key West-inspired line is practical and long-lasting.
New life for old cushions
In 2009, AHI created blue striped cushions for the outdoor furniture at one of Florida’s most exclusive beach and golf resorts. Through everyday use and normal wear and tear, the cushions eventually needed to be replaced. Again AHI handled the project, updating the look with a fashionable new green stripe design that complemented the resort’s refreshed décor. Custom designs for new theme park attraction
When one of America’s favorite vacation destinations added a new attraction, they wanted to create a special environment all its own. AHI was part of the team, providing custom-designed umbrellas that tie in to the various activities. These umbrellas range from circus themed to “patchwork” – they may look old but of course they are brand new – and built to last like all American Holtzkraft products.
Synthetic wood, real value
The weather at this famous Florida resort can take a toll on painted wood and metal structures. AHI’s solution for the resort’s clean towel bins and return bins was to use synthetic wood. And, of course, we supplied the umbrellas. Ask about custom furniture in a wide range of materials, from real wood to recycled plastic.
Guarding the lifeguard
The location is tropical, but the feeling is pure New England. For this waterside yacht club resort, AHI supplied blue striped umbrellas for use poolside as well as over the lifeguard station, manufactured from strong, long-lasting synthetic wood.
Elevating the look at Elevation Burger
For this casual restaurant in Reading, PA (not far from AHI’s manufacturing facility), we provided color-coordinated 772 wooden umbrellas – one of our most popular designs – as well as the black bases that keep them stable. The look is upscale casual and ties into the restaurant’s branding.
For this wooded residential community within a world famous resort, AHI created a rustic, relaxing feel with wooden umbrellas in rich earth tones. Matching fabric with snap fasteners was used to cover the poolside beverage center.
Old world intrigue
AHI worked closely with the project team at this hugely popular destination in Orlando to capture the old world feel of the story behind the setting. The challenge was to make everything look old, from the umbrellas, tables and chairs, to the condiment and cash register stands. All of the furniture was made by hand to look worn, some with gold hardware touches that add drama to the environment.
Considering how comfortable they are, it’s no wonder that the extra wide upholstered chairs at this outdoor dining area are rarely empty. When it was time to replace the upholstery, AHI selected a handsome fabric that would stand up to both weather and customers. Custom manufacturing of the cushions was put on a fast track to meet the busy restaurant’s needs.
For this popular theme park in Florida, umbrellas supplied by AHI featured custom fabric complementing the park’s personality and youthful focus. AHI can work with your design team to make both indoor and outdoor furnishings work together to support your branding.
To generate new interest and visitors, theme parks are continually adding new sections, often based on a popular character or movie. For this park’s newest addition, AHI provided low-pitched umbrellas for a sophisticated look, made to complement the color scheme used throughout the site.
American Holtzkraft’s wood umbrellas are constructed from the finest materials and one of the reasons why this Florida Keys resort selected our #702 umbrella to shade their guests and withstand the Florida weather elements.
